Ok, so did everybody see the Simpsons, Family Guy, and Cleavland show season openers last night? I cant remember the last time I laughed that hard Sober!!! Well, back on track, the launch of the Euro Pro Ninja was great. What a great idea. For once I can see my self using a product such as this, and not just let it sit on the shelf like other models that are similar. Everything was wonderful, and the company took real good care of us. It was kind of a pain in the @#$ with all of the UN stuff going on in NY, however, it was a great experience overall. I just want to give a shout out to all the ladies (Amanda, Elizabeth, Casey, Kristin, Sky, and especially Sarah for reminding me how great Asians are!!!!)!!! Everyone made the trip that much better. I cannot hardly wait until the next blog event. Keep me posted, and I hit everyone up soon. PS, if anyone was wondering, I like grapes. Thank you.

Ok, its been a couple of days now and I think I have recoverd from the USC vs Washington game. If anybody asks me what happened, I wasnt in practice with the team, or watching game films with the coaches (lol). I am about to embark on yet another trip to New York. The thoughts of not being in Western New York with my friends in Gowanda are dwelling a little, however this trip should be really interesting in New York City. I will be traveling with my wife Amanda, and we will be learning about Euro-Pro products, including their new "Ninja Master Prep".

Euro-Pro, manufacturer of innovative home appliances that make daily life easier, is introducing the Ninja Master Prep, a powerful kitchen helper that will enable anyone to rule the kitchen. The Ninja Mater Prep transforms everyday ingredients into delectable drinks, snacks and meals with Ninja technology that turns chunks of ice into snow instantaneously and evenly chops an onion in seconds. Offering the speed and accuracy of professional grade products, the Master Prep can chop, blend, mince, dice or puree with refinement allowing for hassle-free entertaining or quick and delicious snacks.

The Master Prep’s Ninja Technology sets a new precedent in the kitchen appliance market by chopping food or blending drinks with a uniform consistency and without turning food into mush. With both a 48 oz. pitcher and 2-cup bowl that feature splash guards and slip resistant bottoms, this all-in-one versatile appliance takes the place of bulky food processors and blenders that are difficult to store and clean. Custom-fit storage lids and dishwasher-safe parts let the home cook move seamlessly from food prep to cleanup.

“Most blenders are unable to provide creamy, restaurant style frozen drinks,” says Mark Rosenzweig, CEO of Euro-Pro. “The Ninja Master Prep is one simple-to-use product that has a revolutionary ice crushing capability that allows you to do things that other appliances simply can’t match. It outperforms any other blender, mixer or combination appliance in the industry and best of all it is at an affordable price.”

The Ninja Technology has unique processing power for consistent cutting and ice-crushing action. Whether making fresh salsa, bread crumbs or frozen drinks, the quick-cutting blades and powerful interchangeable motor head allow for excellent results. Allowing users to quickly switch between the food processor bowl and blender pitcher, the ergonomic design with one touch pulsing creates an easy-to-use product.

The Ninja Master Prep has a retail price of $49.99 and will be available in select stores beginning in mid-September.

Make Lunch Time Fun Time: Back to School Tips from Sara Lee Deli

3:49 PM Posted by MojoAcuna

Shape Up
Make a sandwich exciting by using cookie cutters to create different shapes. Use their favorite hobby or pastime as a guideline: for sports fans, make a football; for dog lovers, try a dog bone shape.

Stock Up on Favorites
Keep your family happy by having different deli meats on hand. Your kids will all be able to choose their favorite while getting the protein they need. Sara Lee® Fresh Ideas™ pre-sliced deli meats come in 14 different varieties in a convenient, pre-packaged container.

Keep it Cool
If you need to keep your lunch cool, try freezing juice boxes or reusable bottled waters instead of adding bulky ice packs. The boxes or bottles will thaw to provide a refreshing beverage and keep the sandwich fresh.

Get the Kids Involved
Instead of making lunch ahead of time, pack deli meats along with some cheese and crackers. Kids are more likely to eat what they help prepare, and they’ll have a great time stacking the ingredients to their liking during lunch time.

Here’s a great recipe to jazz up the everyday ham and cheese sandwich into a sushi inspired meal:

Sara Lee Deli Kid Sushi Ingredients
2 slices Sara Lee® Fresh Ideas pre-sliced Honey Ham
2 strips Sara Lee® Swiss Cheese, thinly sliced, cut 2” x ¼”
2 slices Sara Lee® Soft and Smooth™ Made with Whole Grain White Bread
1 teaspoon ranch dressing
1 tablespoon thinly shredded carrots
2 sweet baby pickles

Method
Place two slices of white bread with the crusts cut off on a flat surface side-by-side. Using a rolling pin, or glass, gently flatten and fuse the bread slices together. Spread the ranch dressing over the inside middle of the flat bread slices. Place two slices of the ham on top of the ranch dressing. Place the shredded carrots and Swiss cheese on top of the ham. Place the two pickles horizontally and end-to-end at the bread edge closest to you. Starting at the bottom, roll the bread upwards to make a tight cigar-shaped roll. Using a bread knife, cut the roll into sushi-sized pieces approx one inch in length.

Option: Serve on a bed of mixed field greens with chop sticks and extra ranch dressing for dipping.
